Kaziranga National Park on Elephant Safari
Assam is home to the largest population of one-horned rhinos and houses more than 2,600. Only the Great One-Horned Rhino is found in India. The park is open from October to April, as Kaziranga gets flooded by the mighty Brahmaputra during the monsoon months. The best time to visit is between November and March, because the cool weather and lack of rain.
