MANGALAJODI
Mangalajodi village is about 70 km away from Bhubaneswar, the state capital of Odisha state in the eastern part of Peninsular India. It is waterfowl heaven and paradise of birds.
SIMILIPAL TIGER / BIOSPHERE RESERVE
Simlipal National Park is a national park and a tiger reserve in the Mayurbhanj district in the Indian state of Odisha. Similipal has 94 tigers in the core area and 7 in the buffer and its immediate periphery. The tigers in Similipal are mostly in the southern part of the core.
BHITARKANIKA NATIONAL PARK
Bhitarkanika National Park is a 145 km² large national park in northeast Kendrapara district in Odisha in eastern India. It is the breeding place for the endangered saltwater crocodiles which are the prime attractions of the sanctuary.
CHILIKA LAGOON
Chilika Lake is the largest coastal lagoon in India and the largest brackish water lagoon in the world. The highly productive Chilika Lagoon eco-system with its rich fishery resources sustains the livelihood of many fishermen who live in and near the lagoon.
DEBRIGARH SANCTUARY
The Debrigarh wildlife sanctuary is located in the Bargarh district in the Indian state of Odisha, covering a total area of 346.91 km². The beautiful sanctuary spread over 347 sq KM is home to more than 40 mammal species, 234 bird species, 41 reptile species, 85 species of butterflies
DARINGBADI
Daringbadi is known as Kashmir of Odisha for a reason. Orissa is famous for the sea, sun, and sands. It does not seem really likely that there might be a hill station in this state. However, this is a lesser-known spot and a hill station here, which receives even an occasional snowfall in winter.
